North American International Anti-Auto Show
January 19-27
Gallery Hours: Sat 26th 12pm to 6pm & Sun 27th 12pm to 6pm

Even more thrilling details on FB
Curated by Spread Art, the 2013 Anti Auto show visual art exhibition showcases works in a variety of mediums that probe beneath the glitz and glamour of Detroit’s annual Auto Show to examine the many facets of car culture, while exploring and showcasing alternative modes of transportation for a society addicted to an ever increasingly depleted energy source: oil. The exhibition will feature the work of local and international artists, inventors, innovators, architects, designers, and others.
Opening Night: Creative Black Tie Preview: Friday, January 18, 2013 6-9PM $1 (Free to the public after 9PM).
From 6PM-9PM the future-themed gala will include sneak peeks at this year’s
rollouts, drinks and hors d’oeuvres, entertainment, and a chance to say you attended the hippest party
of the brutal winter. Entertainment will include strolling AntiAutoShowGirls, sketch performances by
The Nyx, and music by Odd Hours. (followed by....DJ stylings of L-Boogie) Previous year’s guests are still
talking about car karaoke, so this is an event not to be missed! Creative black tie attire is required. That
means be creative, but dress up!
The Anti-Auto Show Exhibition will then become FREE and open to the
public beginning at 9PM. Casual attire permitted after the preview.
