Her documentary of "It Takes One to Be One", the latest performance by Sue Carman Vian and the Catharctic Circle was shown at Detroit Contemporary in September 2001. She was a founding member of the artists collaborative Urban Margins. She received an MFA from the School of the Art Institute of Chicago in 1985.
