Two dozen artists are contributing half the purchase price of their work to benefit Michigan Legacy Art Park in an exhibit through July 11.

As for Detroit Contemporary owner Aaron Timlin, he is donating his gallery and daily presence to the month-long show.

The list of exhbitors includes such top artists as art park founder David Barr, Dewey Blacksma, Lester Johnson, Ray Katz, Lois Teicher, Steve Rost and Andrea Eis.

Although there are paintings and photographs included, the show is strong on sculpture, with such works as Gary Kulak's "unsittable" chairs, Tom Phardel's powerful wall piece and Sergio DeGuisti's flowing reliefs.
